Christine Kern is an American Producer/Songwriter/Singer and Artist from New York City. She is currently working on a sound, which brings her own brand of soulful Dance and classic Pop. Gifted with a powerful voice and natural knack for catchy lyrics, she’s got a flair for confidence which is intertwined with a timeless elegance.
Christine began playing piano at the age of 8 and singing in the choir, while performing in recitals and School plays. Originally from Irvine, California she moved to New York City at the age of 18 to pursue her dream of becoming a Pop Artist. It is here where she began working for the biggest nightclubs in the City and by the age of 21, she became one of their top VIP promoters. During her tenure, she rubbed elbows with the top DJ’s & Producers in the game, and was heavily influenced by the Dance and EDM scene.
After her departure from the nightlife scene in 2012, Christine opened her own rehearsal and recording studio in Manhattan and began to develop her own sound. She also co-founded/fronted the Rock band Cannabis. “It was a valuable experience for me because I got to watch many Artists perform and perfect their own craft, which helped me and continues to help me throughout my own journey.” In 2014 Cannabis made some noise with a monthly residency at NYC’s legendary “The Bitter End”. During that time, Christine really fine tuned her image and started to build her own brand, but her heart was with Dance music.
In 2015, Christine left the Rock & Roll scene to pursue her true passion of Dance and Pop music and has currently released 5 self-produced singles. Check back for updates and new music…
